I’ve been working on a fingerless glove, and I’ve finished it except my least favorite part: working in the ends. I used the KnitPicks Dancing that Stacy donated to my stash. It’s a yarn with elastic in it. It was difficult getting used to it at first, but now I don’t see much difference between knitting with it and wool or cotton or whatever.
I have carpal tunnel syndrome, so I’m trying to make something that might actually help with that. I thought maybe the elasticity of this yarn would be good. I don’t think this one worked, but it is making my hand warm, which is a welcome thing in my cold office.
I tried doing a double thickness of ribbing, thinking that might make it feel a little more . . . binding, or something. Nope. I like the way it feels better without it doubled up. There are a few other things I’m going to change, too. I think fewer stitches might help, for one thing.
